Observations of how people in the U.S. are responding to the election.

  • Many on the right are understandably excited. But the level of excitement does vary, with some feeling cautious about what President Trump may do once in office. His unpredictable nature is of concern.
  • On the left, the opinions also vary. Some believe that Vice President Harris wasn’t the right candidate for the party or that her campaign was not well executed, focusing more on vibes than on issues. Others believe that the policy decisions taken by the Democratic Party in recent years turned many voters away, particularly on issues related to inflation and the economy, and cultural decisions. While there are others who feel that Vice President Harris lost because of racism and misogyny.
