Portrait of Hans Langseth

Black and white photograph of Hans Langseth seated in an ornate wooden chair. He appears elderly with a very long, flowing white beard that reaches his waist, dressed in a dark Victorian suit with a fur collar. His expression is serious and his gaze is directed towards the viewer.

Hans Langseth, a Norwegian-American, holds the record for longest beard in history. His beard measured 17 ft 6 in at the time of his death in Wyndmere, North Dakota.
